The 2017 USBOXLA Nationals will once again be held in beautiful San Jose California this coming August 4-6. This event will truly be the biggest and baddest box lacrosse event in the US with teams traveling from all over the US and Canada to participate. The Silver Creek Sportsplex will again be the venue for play with its amazing five pads, restaurant and bar. Hundreds of youth players from PeeWee through High School will converge on the Sportsplex for a fun filled 3 days of hard hitting competition.
The Revolution will return to San Jose for the second year and this time we are taking two teams, PeeWee and Bantam. The teams will be selected through tryout to be held in early spring. We will have two to three 2-hour practices (6 hours total) in preparation for the tournament.
Unlike our regular winter season which selects teams based upon grade level, the USBOXLA Nationals rules require teams to be selected based on year of birth. This coming spring our tryouts will be held for PeeWee (2005/2006) and Bantam (2003/2004) players. It doesn't matter which month you were born simply the year.
Tryouts for the Atlanta Revolution teams will be held separately at the following dates and location.
Location: NE Cobb YMCA.
PeeWee Tryout: May 15th, 2017. 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m
Bantam Tryout: May 22nd, 2017 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Cost $25. Each interested player must register individually for their respective tryout. Returning players must register for tryouts to verify interest. Registration of a returning player does not ensure a roster spot for the Nationals.
